The disciplinary administrators choose to ignore lesser offense a student does, which could be taken as a learning point, and wait for them to get in greater trouble and then use the un-confronted lesser offenses to get them in more trouble.
Big bear had cameras in his eyes where Dolph and Dempsey watches everyone. The faculty kids are secret watchers for their parents because they seem innocent and so people say whatever in front of them and they report back to their parents.
1. TVs are everywhere around the Pomfret Campus and they seem useless. Because they cost so much, they couldn't have been implemented just for putting up pictures so they are used by the Board to convey subliminal messages that are meant to alter the way students act.
2. The dining hall staff makes chicken all the time because they add special powder to that alter the way students act.
(The theories need to be a little more specific, but I just have a general idea right now)
For my Pomfret Conspiracy ideas are that Mr. Richards is secretly a world renown dancer who uses his business trips around the world as a cover up for his dance recitals and competitions. This explains the wear and tear he has put on his hamstring, and why he married a yoga instructor(for maximum accessibility to someone who can help keep him stretched out and in shape.)
My second conspiracy theory is that the campus dogs are shampooed with a special type of chemical that when someone touches it they instantly become more intent on doing their work and following orders. This is used by the faculty to control the student body.
One conspiracy that could be said about pomfret is that there are strategically placed cameras in objects like Big Brother or the sundial that are able to give school officials an idea of where students are on the campus at all times. This could be hard to prove but at the same time now that Big Brother is gone there will be no easy way of disproving the fact that there were no cameras in Big Brother. All you need for a conspiracy to be possible is if there can be doubt without a easy disproval. A second interesting conspiracy is that it is possible that lice was actually planted by the administration in order to instill fear and have a stronger control over students. The lice caused reason for rooms to be gone through or emptied if the students had lice. Teachers helped clean out people rooms if they had lice and needed their stuff to be treated and this was a way of room searching without saying they were doing room searches. Lice also was something that the school can now do certain things to plan in advance for because it was such a bad case here and these planning may infringe upon our freedom here at Pomfret.
We all think that the tech office is a where they take care of all the technology at Pomfret and help students with their computers but in fact they use it as a cover. In secret they have the ability to access every student's computer screen live in order to know what they are doing at all times.
The smoke detectors in every room all have microphones in order for the deans to know what students are talking about. Once they know what students are up to they cannot get them in trouble right away but can now get them at the right moment.
It could be interesting to create a secret society at school (either of students or faculty). Or maybe something to do with the DC trying to get rid of people they don't like.
idea 1- There is a room in the school that has some connection with being haunted or having a story behind what went on there idea 2- there is a secret group of people and people sort of know it exists but no on knows what the people actually do in it and no one knows who's apart of it
